Red Star Raceway

All new Red Star Raceway set to open it's Race Track in May 2010, Red Star Race Track is 4km long, has 13 turns and 5 straights. A unique feature with Red Star is that the Race Track has been designed for either clockwise or anti clockwise racing. Rumor has it that Red Star will only be for bikes. A big Congratulations to Red Star, taking Superbike Racing to a new level in South Africa and possibily MotoGP!!

Kyalami Race Track

The Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit is a world famous motor sport venue which lies on a 72 ha site and measures 4,2km in length. The word Kyalami means 'my home' in Zulu.

Since Kyalami Race Track opened in 1961 the race track played host to numerous Grand Prix, Moto GP, World Superbike and 9 hour endurance events. Today the circuit hosts 10 National motor sport events with international events planned for 2009 and beyond.

The internationally FIA graded circuit is in great demand, in addition to the national motor sport events other activities regularly taking place at Kyalami include; driver training and education schools, motorcycle and superbike training sessions, car club days, super-car days, product launches, vehicle testing and development, cycling activities and numerous events and exhibitions. Kyalami is well on it's way to achieving it's dream of becoming a multi facetted entertainment facility.

Interesting facts: Kyalami is set to regain its rightful place on the international motor sport calendars of the world as it moves towards its 50th anniversary in 2011.

Phakisa Race Track

Phakisa race track boasts a 4,24km track as well as a 1,5 mile banked oval track similar to the highly competitive Nascar race tracks in the USA.

The Grand Prix road course was designed in conjunction with officials of the FIM and is rated as one of the safest circuits on the GP tour. It is 12m wide throughout the track, with a total of 14 bends, 5 left and 9 right-hand. Despite the straights being relatively short and your top end is slower than most tracks, this circuit has no chicanes which makes for a fast sweeping race. On his first visit to Phakisa Race Track in late 1999, Alex Barros rated the fast right-hander at the end of the back straight as the best in Grand Prix bike racing! After taking to 500cc crown in the 2001 South African MotoGP, Valentino Rossi said "I love this place - it is one of the most demanding racetracks in the world, and you have to be brave to win here."

Zwartkops Race Track

Zwartkops International World of Motoring is a 2,4km race track located between Johannesburg and Pretoria. Zwartkops track comprises of eight corners, including three fast bends and one 180° hairpin turn. With a international racing circuit and kart circuit, the biggest skidpan in Africa, an off road motard track and 4X4 track, you'll find every aspect of motoring in one place. Zwartkops offers much for racers who wish to compete on the circuits, including a friendly atmosphere and great viewing for spectators. Driver training and education are offered to Corporate Companies, team building event's and individuals, on the skidpan, race track, kart track and a purpose built quad track.
